I would not class it as a "kiddie" resort specifically. It has a variety of clientele which can be a good thing.
Lots of space - nice gardens and pools x 2.
Great location with many restuarants in Jln Padma, Sahedewa ( Garlic Lane ) and Melasti St. That surround the hotel.
Loads of good shopping too & right on the beach.
The rooms are on the small side however you are not going to be in them 24/7 I would think.
Like any hotel as the Mandira in house services can be very expensive when a short stroll down the street will make your $ stretch a long way.
