It can be tricky finding a good money changer around Poppies 1 & 2 & that area of Jl Legian. For years I have used a guy in Poppies 2 on the corner of the long gang connecting (in a meandering way) Poppies 1 & 2 - he's in the front of a tailor, close to Jl Legian. Always most honest - good rates. No dodgy stuff. I go out of my way to change money there.
