There are very few countries that are free of rabies.There are a few types types of the virus ,one being in our bats in australia. all wild life carers who handle bats must have the course of injections. Our possums carry tetanus and we have to be inoculated every 5 years ,not 10.It's great to have the warning about rabies in bali but put it into perspective.There has been isolated cases and the appropiate measures are being taken.
