Do not worry... just be patient as the Jetsaver seats have not been released. I reckon the person you spoke to at the Jetstar call centre are repeating parrot fashion what they read on the screen.
I was in the same boat for booking May returning June 09, their Jetsaver prices showed 'sold out' for ages. I rang and I was told to wait 3 weeks, I did and they came out. Just a shame you didn't speak to a person who knew what they were talking about.
