We have been several times tho so no biggie to us. The ones at the Monkey Forest in Ubud are probably a bit tamer but if you are holding banana's or the like they will 'take you down' to get them!!
We last saw monkeys at Uluwatu (?sp) & they were actually quite vicious. We were just walking down some steps and one leapt out and tried to rip my small diamond studs out of my ears. I didn't realise what he was up to at first but then he had a go at my other ear. It was quite scary I can tell you.
If you were going to go, IMO, I would go to Ubud and I wouldn't be feeding them but that's just me! Good luck with whatever you decide.
