I hate chemicals, medicine, food additives etc. but after our last Bali trip where the doctor said if our son starts to bleed from the nose or eyes we should come straight back(you think?) in case of dengee fever, I would never risk using anything but what is recommended by by doctor, tropical strength repellent. My doctor is very much into natural therapy and is always happy for me to try alternate things but she stands firm on this one, are your children very young? mine are now 10 and 12 but I have used it since the youngest was 7 years, maybe mine would of been a different story if they were much younger.
We try to cover up as much as possible as well.
