Flew Garuda 1st November left on time flight all good.. Picked up by the transfers from the Satriya. We had 17 staying at the Satriya arriving at different stages over 2 weeks. Only a few had already stayed at the Satriya all the others it was the first time staying there but pleased to say it wont be the last time they all loved the hotel and will be returning to stay there again..
We had travelled there for my 40th birthday which all I wanted a quite meal with everyone upstairs in the Ninety Degrees Restaurant. It was a fantastic night the food was wonderful and the staff were great as usual, Dipper organised a yummy birthday cake for me and the skies put on a magnificent lightning show. I could not have asked for a better birthday...
This trip was to relax and recuperate as the year leading up to the trip hadn't been the best so a lot of time was spent around the hotel pool with massages and facials and eating yummy poolside food and just taking time out..
While we were there they had a Wedding Ceremony (Australian couple) in the grounds of the Satriya just outside the temple it was lovely and so much effort was put into the decorations and planning by the staff.
Flew home 16th November with Garuda all good.
It was fairly quite around Bali due to being low season and the executions of the bombers but Bali was still its same enchanting self and the people were the same gentle souls with beaming smiles... and I will be back there next year definitely...
