Ive been reading through forum on TRS and gone to various web sites, but not sure of the answer to the following;
Can my daughter aged 16yrs claim her laptop through TRS she paid $1283 for it. We bought it within 30 days of leaving, have tax invoice receipt, with her name and address on it and it is the only thing on docket and she will be taking it as carryon luggage.
I have read that familys can combine their TRS allowance= Me $900 son (18years) $900 daughter (16 yrs) $450, total $2250.
So is it ok for her to claim using balance of us adults TRS or dont they let kids do this?
