we got ours within a week of lodging the application. It tells you on the passport website the expected tunaround time.Early Feb would be plenty early enough to apply I would think. Occasionally there is a problem - usually with the photo and they send it back to be corrected...but usually a very efficient service.Passports are sooo expensive - especially when you are renewing a few at a time :(
