We stayed in a Twiga suite a couple of months ago. It was upstairs and a wooden boardwalk takes you back to the restaurant. We were in suite 210 which had a queen bed and was about midway from the pool to the restaurant. Our view was sensational over the savannah. We could see the explorer buses passing thru the area and the zebras, wilderbeast, antelopes and rhinoceros were just down below.
Our package included a pass into the park, but we received two passes and breakfast was included.
The prices in the restaurant were very expensive (although we were fortunate to be invited to a private function and only paid for beer and wine). A bottle of wine of the Gods shiraz was 500,000rp and small Bintangs 30,000rp.
We thoroughly enjoyed our experience.
Make sure you get to breakfast early to be there when the lions are released from their overnight accomodation!
