the other day I thought we had an extra day in Bali and got all excited about maybe spending one last night in some fancy hotel on the coast, ends up it's just a 12.05am flight.
But once I got going I couldn't stop! we have now decided to book a hotel for that last night anyway so we can check out as late as possible and go to the airport from the coast instead of Ubud.

I have been looking at the smaller places around Tanjung Beno or down that way as we have never stayed around there. So far all booked up(2nd Jan 2009 so I am expecting it to be difficult).

So I started thinking maybe we could shock the kids(and ourselves) and stay in some massive hotel with amazing pools and big buffet breakfast, it will be different if nothing else.

I found pictures of the Nikko Bali Resort and thought my kids will think they have gone to heaven with that slide, but the place looks stupid big, if we are there for only one night, I worry half our time could be walking from our room to the pool, any comments?

The Ritz Carlton says it has two pools slides, but they are fully booked.

There is Sanur Paradise Plaza Suites, says it has a big slide, hmmm really wanted something a bit more lush, but some of their rooms look really nice, it's so cheap as well, it seems popular?

Around Kuta is not an option, hubby flatly refuses to stay there, and I'm happy with that.

So any hotels that you would recommend, would love a slide for the kids, or best pool ever, budget around $400 USD for the four of us,(but really happy if it's less), some where near Sanur, Seminyak, Nusa Dua, Tanjung Beno or Jimbaran Bay.

Comments on Nikko Bali Resort or Sanur Plaza Suites or Hotel? would be great.

Cheers Deb.
