Much as I love the place I doubt that it would be suitable for a family with children. It serves only Indonesian food of a very high standard. Kids mostly want western food and I doubt that they'd appreciate Ketupat's haute Indonesian cuisine. If they're into Indonesian food then by all means go to Ketupat - it's just beautiful. Tables & bales set around a pool & the prices are very reasonable. It's behind Jonathan Gallery on the left heading towards Kuta in Jl Legian.
