There certainly is a duty free shop on the way in and they have very good prices on spirits. No problem taking it through customs provided you stick to the 1 litre per person rule total.

I am tossing up whether to buy a bottle in Adelaide on Friday to take over on Virgin Blue or wait till I get there for a much better price but am worried about the available range as there is a dire shortage of available spirits in Bali at the moment, so I have been told by locals. If anyone knows different please let me know.

I phoned Virgin Blue regarding taking duty free on board and they assured me it was no problem bothe out of Adelaide and out of Denpasar as long as I was aware of the cabin luggage weight restrictions.

Regards,
David
