year or so that things have changed.
Before we loved staying there , but it has always been very noisy, at least on the ground floor. At one end, you have all the restaurant noise, and if you are unfortunate enough to get room 18 or 19 you have a pressure pump switching on and off loudly all night. (That drove my husband crazy!!)
Higher up you may not hear the pressure pump, and you would not hear the front of noise house.
At one stage we had people eating tea literally 1.5 metres away from our bedroom window. Now that's OK during the evening, but when it's 11 pm and later, and they're tanked and loud, you do tend to feel a little stroppy.
We were there for all of May 08, and while the other regular guests may not have posted on here, the vast majority of them were planning to not stay there again.
I suspect, it's actually become a victim of it's own popularity.
I have tried to be very fair with what I have written, as the staff there are lovely. I will happily stay there for a single day or so at the end of a holiday, but I honestly think I'd be looking for somewhere a little greener, and quieter.
