not sure if this will help, but you can buy wii and if you take it outt of the country with you , you can claim the gst back through the trs (travellers refund sceme) at any international airport providing you purchaced it within 30 days of travelling , have the purchace and receipt with you. this is available for any purchaces over $300 in one transaction and you have the goods with you as carry on luggage.
