we arrived Monday night. took one hour in a taxi just to get from the airport to kuta beach road. took about 1.5 hours to get to kuta townhouses.
It is very very busy on the roads. weather is good - it's a bit overcast so it tends to feel a bit cooler. Very heavy thunder storm yesterday afternoon.
exchange rate - aprox 7200.
KTH - we only got to spend 2 nights here (checking out in a minute). very impressed, the staff are lovely, the appartments are great. the breakfast we found really good. Just a basic choice of eggs/ pancakes etc.. we had eggs both mornings, perfectly cooked and hot. I much prefer this to the usual buffet style of breakfast where you tend to overeat.
due to us booking fairly last minute we have 4 lots of accommoation as everywhere was fully booked. Off to Bali rich villas for 2 nights, then KP for 3 nights, then dynasty for last part of our trip.
