.... and were placed in a newly renovated room (no 281). I was expecting it to look totally different to the delux rooms that we have previously stayed in, but really they weren't much different. The floor has been retiled in a marble tile. There have been a few upgrades to the bedhead and wardrobe doors and the TV stand has been added. The fridge was no londer in the bedroom area but in the bathroom under the sink (same fridge though). The small lounge in the bedroom/sitting area may have been reupholstered??? but it was the same style material. Ceiling was the same. It had been given a fresh coat of latte coloured paint on the walls. Same bed sheets. We noticed the towels were a lot whiter than normal - they may have purchased new towels for the whole resort.

All in all it seemed fresher and neater, nothing drastic though. The upside (well how I saw it anyway) is that the prices wont jump too drastically compared to if they had completely overhauled the room. We were aware that there have been a few rooms upgraded in different styles to see which was preferable - the other rooms may have been very different?

The fresher rooms combined with all of the new pool renovations makes the BHG a favourite of ours. Not to mention location location! Hope this helps.
