prices up but not happy with the big hotels price gouging for what must be enormous profits.considering the low wages and overheads. I bet the loacals who work there don't get even a sniff of all that extra profit.
I am sure that a hotel whose tariff has doubled in 12 months (eg Hyatt in Sanur)
has not doubled the pay for their staff :(
Sure, moderate increases are fine and necessary but must be shared.
We try our best to stay in small locally run and owned hotels so that hopefully the money will stay in Bali and not end up back in America or Japan.
