I've sent many things over by post. I think pretty much everything was opened and then taped back again. Roughly 1 in 6 would not make it at all and the 5 that did make it, there would be one of them that had something missing. Forget even trying to send cash. I know someone who has sent money by rolling it up and hiding it inside a pen. I wouldn't even risk that. Basically don't send anything valuable.
