I have just come back (last Monday) from 3 weeks at the Champlung Mas. It is in a great location - close to everything and great shopping. The staff were friendly and the facilities were good. The actual resrot is a bit tired and 'rustic' and it's obvious that basic maintenance of any king has not happened for a long time (I heard that the restort is going to be re-developed soon). They put up bigblue tarps on the lobby roof the other day in preparation for the rain. Breakfast was a bit disappointing but we had some lovely lunches there. The rooms are basic but good and the beds comfortable. No tea/coffee making facility and only Indonesian TV stations. Sometimes they would have a TV in the breakfast area on BBC World News. Overall an enjoyable stay - I'd go back there again.
