I'm not exactly sure but I took advantage of their $283 taxes incl return fare, dep Perth, last week for my 3 month trip in feb and it was stated as a condition of sale then. I assumed it only applied to that special. If not it does seem like a bit of a money grab and makes me thankful I only travel with carry on baggage.
