this seems to be the norm now. Most reputable Bali Hotels have SSL feature on their websites for online bookings. However, take into account the amount that the Hotel will charge you on check out, if it is a fairly long stay the amount can take a big chunk out of the credit cards limit, especially if you have used same card for shopping, duty frees, restaurants etc. Nothing more embarrasing than having your card rejected.
