alcohol into bali

hi,
i've read some recent posts of alcohol shortage so i'm thinking i will buy duty free to take to bali.
my question is, are customs officials doing the 'pay up or confiscate' more than usual?
i know a few years back my parents were taken to a little room to 'negotiate' while us kids waited outside thinking they had been arrested haha.
