It's on the corner of the soccer field so there's lots to look at and the food is excellent, prices reasonable & the loos top notch.
I also like Cafe Des Artistes - last June when we were there there was a large group of students & teachers from Bali's International School - they all obviously very much enjoyed it.
Just behind Ibu Oka's is Bumbu Bali which is in a pleasant setting with great Indonesian food - if you're lucky you can eavesdrop on a cooking class. We couldn't get into Ibu Oka's so happily ate at Bumbu Bali instead. As hubby was turning the car around I wandered up the road behind the palace & there was Ibu Oka herself outside her house - had my pic taken with her - a highlight of the trip for me.
