Hi i had Bali Belly for the first time in 12 years on our last trip in July. I always buy the charcoal tablets from the chemist and take them at the first sign of a weird tummy, these work wonders. I also take imodium with us but you can buy from chemist there also. Gee i had it so bad in July that i had to call in doctor after two days of constant toilet and cramping that i cant explain how painful that was. It cost me $120 AUS to see doctor in hotel room plus he gave me three different types of medication, within 12 hours felt 100% better by the next day back to normal. I cant think of what i ate differently to everyone else only thing it could have been was Spaghetti Carbonara from Cafe Dulang, tasted beautiful but too scared to have it again incase of a repeat episode.....
