we have just returned from the rama and we stayed in a garden villa which is the same as a pool villa but without the pool(funny bout that).
The villas are spacious and nicely fitted out with a good size tele and sound system. The bathrooms are large and very well decorated with marble tiles and a large shower.There is also a good size bath if you prefer baths.
Our friends had a pool villa which has a plunge pool in the courtyard with a small deck around it.
The hotel itself was very busy,as most hotels are at the moment.
I believe their prices have risen or are about to go up substantially though.
The restaurant service was fine as usual but the front of house staff are not so organised.
Check in and check out,especially if you have a late checkout,can be a hassle and a lot of the time rooms are not ready when you check in (we have stayed here 4 times and always have a problem one way or another)
