no he didnt even think to take one of his (numerous) boards, but the guys on the street in a little surfboard shop had a couple boards,they didnt really know what to do, so son asked if he could have a go (couldnt help himself) he did a few tricks & the guys thought he was great, he had thongs on so they rode him back to the room to get his skate shoes on to do some more (he was in his element) they just skated on the street 'as you do', then every time we walked past if he had his thongs on they shouted out'hey you wanna ride back to get skate shoes on' honestly he loved it, we would often leave him there for a while & collect him later, they were great guys.
