I agree that as far as Aly's calculations go- 6979 seems pretty damn close to 7000 to me.Eleven Rupiah difference really doesn't seem worthwhile getting into a hissy fit about re your spending money & what it will buy you in Bali.
Even at the xe.com website current rate of $1.00 Aussie = 6.858 > which went down to 6.850 as I was checking,we are hardly talking about a lot of cents,we are almost talking about peanuts.Whatever the difference is from the 7000 that she quotes,it's pretty much nothing in the big picture.
We all know (well most of us here I expect )the rate on the steet can vary re the official rates but it's very rarely a huge amount of difference & in my opinion really not worthwhile worrying about.
