I can't believe you're thinking of staying at Sanur when you have paid for your stay at MBR. Why not just enjoy your holiday as it is, do a day trip or 2 over to Sanur & check it out. In 20 trips to Bali I have stayed at Sanur only once and would not stay over there again as it is too quiet for me. I enjoy having everything close by, whilst you are in the hotel complex it is usually peaceful and relative quiet, step outside when you want to experience all Bali has to offer but at the end of the day return to your Sanctuary. You can always plan your next trip around Sanur if you feel your missing out on something. (NOT) Anyway enjoy whatever you decide.
