they are under going huge renovations at the moment. The pool may be gone by now, i'm not sure. The adjoining resort owns UBH and is going to build on some of UBD land. Once finished Ubud village will be lovely, although a lot smaller. I was there in September and they had just started, we also met the owner and got the full lay out.. I'm sure they will make sure there is as little noise and interuption as possible. They told us they would take us to the up market Ubud resort a short distance away to use the pool but it's not the same. You could try Cendana or Yulia.
