that she is asking for recommendations to get the best person possible for her. I doubt that she is just dumping the kids and running! People leave their children in day care all the time with people they barely know here in Australia...
I will be looking for a reputable babysitter / nanny when I go to Bali next year and I take note of all the recommendations. I would meet the person a day or so before hand to get to know them a little and see if my kids like the person enough to be left with them for one evening, 2 at the most...
