When we stayed at the Jayakarta a few years ago halfway through our stay they moved the room numbers in the apartment block around with no warning! This gave a us a real case of confision when we came back from shopping !! Then of course when we went to check out our room tab was a mess!!! Luckily they were able to present the chits and we were able to identify all the ones that were not our as they had a different signature.
Also had a issue with the room tab at the Baleka last year when we paid in the morning but the clerk didn't record the payment and they wanted us to pay again on check-out! It was all sorted after some discussions but it made me realise you always need to get a receipt for cash payments!
