If it were my choice, I would stay at Tegal Sari another trip rather than stay in room 15 and miss the view.
Maybe try Greenfields next door. The view in the room we checked was not as good as TS but a better alternative than no view at all.
We also stayed at Ubud Village Hotel last November and enjoyed the nice room, no view, but in the centre of the 'action'.
