we take over a few days newspapers that we haven't had a chance to read in the few busy days prior to leaving & either leave them with expat friends or people we get to know in the hotel we are staying at.We also both leave behind the magazines & books that we take with us.

I reckon the one of the biggest laughs/con's is the young lads walking around the streets that sell the newspapers at top price that have been left behind on the plane. Many years ago on our 1st trip,we learnt this the hard way.He was so please to think he was getting a copy of the Weekend Australian that was only 2 days old until he opened it & found a copy of a WA newspaper that was 2 months old !
As has already been stated, the front cover is usually only a day or so old but the inside can be anything up to a month or 2 old & the crossword page is always done. You have to admire them being so keen on wanting to earn a Rupiah <LOL>
