I am in Ubud at the moment and was here in June to August. I use I Gede Suambayasa as my driver in Ubud. He is great. Speaks good english, knows all the tourist sites, is not expensive, has a nice new car and pleasant personality. He took me to Kuta on Tuesday afternoon and waited patiently until 10.30 at night to drive me back to Ubud. He also looked after a friend of mine when I left before her in August. I am sure he will look after you, he has the patience of a saint. Has helped me out with communicating and it is always "no problem" when I want to go into shop after shop!
