we spent a blissful 4 weeks in Bali. Stayed at the Dewi Sri and the Jayakarta Hotel.Did a few outings and some shopping,ordered a gazebo and a few statues to be shipped home. Ate at a few different restaurants,so I will do a list of favourites.
When we first arrived we were getting 7 800rp to the dollar and that didn't last long,most of the time it was anywhere between 6100 and 6500.
The week of Idul Fitri /end of Ramadan,was crazy busy. Lots of security around on the 12th for the aniversary of bombings in Kuta,and even more with the Asian Beach games which is on this week.Military ships were stationed offshore and police helicopters and lots of police escorts for the athletes(4000 of them).
We went to Bali zoo and the Safari park. I will try and do a jbr in the next few days with all the details of our trip, we had some bad news when we arrived back home and I am dealing with that right now.So,as I said a report will be done as soon as I get a minute to myself.
