that time of year and getting hotter - there is plenty to see in bali - especially if you can get out of kuta......personally I find singapore to be more a place of boredom.
In singapore unless you go to the "tourist" attractions such as the islands or butterfly houses and raphels etc you are better off going to sydney.
malayasia in particular KL is nice - but to me bali has so much more to offer - find a good driver and head up to places like lovina, ubud or even candi dasa - I personally love the north west around lovina etc - there is so much that most tourists to see or visit.
