paying to go at Christmas 507000 for double room, my daughter was quoted 570000 for a double room will be there on the 2nd Jan then rate drops on the 5th Jan to 475000. Go figure that. Normally we pay off season 475000 per double room.
I booked Christmas in January 08 and that was the rate quoted and that's all I'm going to pay.
They have put there rates up since I have booked. Pretty soon they will price themselves out of the market as a leading 3 star hotel.
The rates for all their rooms has gone up quite a bit. That 475000 will go up next year too for off season. They will add about another 50000 rupiah to that, that seems the amount each year it goes up.
KP used to be reasonable price but its not anymore. I will not be staying there ever again after this trip. Have decided to stay in hotel much further out of Kuta. Not for price but for the peace and quite. KP has gotten very popular and way too many children for me. It is very nosiey at the KP.
I don't and am not complaining about the children its just that I prefer the peace on my holidays.
Must find hotel with less children for relaxation. Any ideas anyone.
