Restaurants we ate at:
Seminyak
Ku De Ta - trendy, top food, pricey
Eny's Warung - traditional, fresh organic tasty food, cheap as.
Soho 24hr diner - european food, nice, reasonable. Great breakfasts and chocolate milkshakes.
Small corner restaurant near La Lucciola - chef was a Dutch guy - very nice butter fish, very reasonable prices.
Ubud
Diry Duck - must say I was a bit disappointed here - several things on menu we ordered they didn't have. Also no alcohol except beer. Staff weren't that interested in us. Crispy duck was extremely crispy. I know this place has a good name so maybe we just had an off night.
Batan Waru - love this place. Nice coffee, cakes, nice staff.
Cafe Wayan - one of our favourites in Ubud. Never disappointed here. Atmosphere lovely, staff lovely, food excellent, good prices, very relaxing.
Jazz Cafe - coffee and great music here. The night we were there the band was playing and they couldn't make coffee cos not enough electricity for band and coffee machine. Could only happen in Bali. Had drinks instead.
Tuban/Kuta
Gracies Irish Bar at the Dynasty - good food, great irish music and close to our rooms.
Uncle Norms - Legian. Great restaurant, staff entertained children with tricks. Food lovely.
Starbucks - best coffee I have ever tasted.
Green Garden Cafe - unfortunately son got sick here about 45 minutes after having the fried rice. I know you can't blame any one restaurant but it was pretty obvious. He was very sick for about 7 hours. I did go back and tell them but they said many people ate the fried rice and no problems. I guess if you are going to get sick then you are no matter where you eat.
