We didnt eat at all the restaurants we wanted to as we were with friends and they chose half the time and we did too.

Yutz, by far the best food we had, I would recommend booking as they are always busy. Its not an overly large restaurant. I had a beautiful steak with mashed potato and mushroom sauce. It came with steamed beans wrapped in bacon. well worth a trip no matter where you are staying.

Seaside, went here on the first night, great setting, food great and cheaper than i thought it would be for the beach setting.

Goodys, went here twice, fantastic pizzas (take away available - our friends bought some takeaway for lunch when their boy was sick with ear infection) good service, friendly staff, fairly cheap as well. Boss had ribs which were superb

La Monde, opposite garden view - really nice food as well, and cheap.

Poppies, I really think this restaurant has gone down in the last 2 years. Food was average, arak attacks best in bali, about half an hour to get a drink and food took an hour to arrive. Such a shame, it used to be the place we wouldnt miss.

Flying piano, great food, pretty cheap, it seemed to be the party place at night, we had lunch there the day we arrived.

tommys, i loved this little place, had a ploughman lunch thingy which was great for a change, men had steak sandwiches which were good, kids had macaroni cheese which they loved, was cheap and they have books you can borrow or swap.

Billys, food average, but you cant go past the great staff here. We had dinner once and drinks once, kids loved it, and the magic tricks benny did. He couldnt pronounce my name so called me Augy.... needless to say that became my nicname for the rest of the trip.

Jonis. this place was a gem. just around the corner on padma st, they had mexican food as well as everything else, if you eat there you can swim there. Was a godsend for the kids who got hot quickly. Food good, drinks good, pretty cheap.

Warung 96, always good there, very cheap, good service, food great, we all (4 of us this time) ate and drank (couple of beers each - milkshakes/lemonade for kids) for about 123,000rp

Cant remember all the other places, but really enjoyed most meals - always lovely not to have to cook!
