I just wanted to share recent a experiance as I know using the internet to book accomadation or going direct to the hotel has become increasingly popular and I have also done it several times.
I wanted to book the hotel wida in a dlx pool room for a two week period in dec for 1 adult and 1 infant on a certain popular booking website it was $900 odd dollars ( dont know if I can actually say the name of the website??)
For interest sake I called a travel agent just to triple check and I got it for $460!!!! ( thats a std room with a free upgrade but on the website even the std room was $750)
So Im by no means bagging going direct just reminding you all that some wholesalers have really good contracts with some hotels and with all the inclusions and freebies as well as the actually price you could be missing out so it pays, well in my case pays nearly $500 to shop around guys!!
