Being a person of few words I'll keep this simple and to the point.
We flew Garuda, as usual, no dramea's.
Stayed at the Rama Garden, great little hotel.
The theme this trip was the AFL grand final and Bwians 65th( Bwian is Scotties dad) both huge event were celebrated on the same day.
Highlights: Mitch, well what can I say, it was a pleaseure once again to have this truely amazing mans company, such a shame he lives on the other side (and I don't mean Geeksville! hehehe)
We spent the majority of our time either doing nothing or drinking, but hey we didn't have to do anything else.
As per usual we spent most of afternoons/evenings atKetuts Beach Bar because he is the most beautiful host to be found on the island, caught up with some old time mates and found some new ones, have another couple of Canadian backpackers to add to the list.
Grand final day at the Bali Rock withthe lovely Jacqui was amazing, we had the footy tipping comp boys all chaffing at the bit. We had organised the upstairs area and Jacqui did a wonderful jod keeping the esky full. Lunch was a highlight, they set up a bar-be in the open area upstairs and the food was great.
The place was jammed packed and when the national anthem was sung and everyone stood, awe you had to be there, heart wrenching stuff.
The lowpoint of the trip was coming home, bloody Mitch forced me to drink too much alcohol the night before and I got (Bintang Belly) I was so happy to have a spare seat in our row and managed to spread out and sleep all the way home(just like in the fairy tales)
All in all another great holiday, spent with some very amazing and special friends.
