A few months ago, I booked an Air Asia ticket through the Internet using a Citibank credit card. About 5 minutes later, I received a phonecall from Citibank asking if I had authorised the transaction. When I said "yes", they let the transaction through.
Last week, I received a new credit card with a microchip from Citibank to replace a magnetic strip credit card that still has several years before expiry. The new credit card cannot be as easily copied as the old magnetic strip card.
