Read all the JBR's that you can. They give a real perspective on the good, bad, funny and sad sides to everything in bali. I think we can all relate to some part of every JBR that is written.
Notes are great to take with you, but dont get to obsessed with them or your holiday wont feel like a holiday.
Best advice i have is to talk to people in your hotel, around the pool, or in the bar, or even at breakfast, you will make some great freinds, for life, no matter where they are from, and they will tell you all the best places that they know, and quite often show you around. It is so much fun going out to dinner with a group of new freinds.
Bali is the place for going with the flow, and really relaxing.
We are also going next May, for our 5th trip, staying at Puri Raja Resort.
Hope you have a great time, and we may even see you over there :)
