in some feed back when you go to Jln Sulawesi there are many fabric shops there in fact a whole street full, great fun to walk down this street but dont DONT let one of the locals touts become a guide they can be a pest to get rid of (worse than some of the time share people), a lot of the prices are very very good certainly better than wholesale in Aust, although you have to watch the quality closely and check for flaws dont be frightened to pull a fair bit of the fabric off the bolt/roll light tends to be bad in a lot of these shops and we found a lot of colour change a long the length of a lot of the ones we looked at, I would be interested to know how much fabric you are buying as it does not take much fabric to make your suitcase overweight, postage is ok and cheap for a small parcel as long as you don't get pinged by customs for importing, write gift on packaging and send to home address not business address, next option is a container full which is a different ball game and china or vietnam might be a better idea, are you just thinking of a couple of metres or buying bolts. Noticed one of the recomendations was for ANIS in jln Sulawesti local taxi driver will get you there, never been to Toko Nyoman but I'm putting it on my list now for my next trip.
