I agree with the others, the Melasti is much better for families. Perhaps if your youngest was 14 and you didn't mind the kids being in a completely separate room to yours it would be okay but I'd go with the Melasti. The Lokha is perfectly adequate for couples for not so for families.
I don't know about it being party central though, I mean I haven't been there for 2 years but last time we stayed we thought it was fairly quiet. Things might have changed though.
