with a great hole in my leg full of dirt sh_t& sand- an artery had severed and some doctor thousands of miles away was asking me details about my injuries. I didn't give a stuff about the details of my injury I just wanted it stiched and cleaned before it got infected. I had every faith in the medical staff who attended me and I believe the insurance company and their "doctors" thought first of their dollars. I believe that ethics have been replaced by financial decisions in many medical situations not just in travel insurance but here in our own backyard.
