Lombok Guide, has all the transport options. The public ferry is an adventure choice, rustic perhaps but takes all day and depending on time of year often gets delayed because of high seas. The fast boats go between Bali and the Gilis and then stop about 30 minute drive north of Senggigi. Flying usually cheaper than the fast boat.
