I feel so sorry for you as it is the most annoying and painful thing to have while your flying...
I got a flu while i was in Bali last week and had to fly back to Australia on Thursday afternoon. I then had to fly up to work on Friday afternoon and my ears are still blocked and hurting every now and then.
Take as much medication with you as possible because I didn't have anything and when I bought some herbal tablets at a chemist in Bali it worked out to be about 30 bux for them. just for herbal ones... I so wished I had have taken some codral or sudafed with me.
