love to help and encourage you more we have stayed at several villas in Seminyak and seen heaps even thinking of buying one but you will find the cost will reduce a lot if you can talk somebody else, family or friends into sharing with you, have you tried www.balivillas.com they have heaps of different budget Villas its a good starting point, We are booked into the Villa Aqua and Villa Sakti for next year check it out on the web (google it)it will give you a gander at two top self Villas but the links off of these web pages will lead you to plenty of smaller and more budget Villas, we have also stayed at the Villa Dewarta 3 this is set up for four couples but next door was Dewarta 2 and while we were there a group of two Korean familys were staying at Dewarta 2 they had a ball and made heaps of use out of the driver and air con van available to them, staff were fantastic. Also have you thought of a two or three room villa at "The VIllas" near the Bali Deli (www.thevillas.com) good luok if you have any questions re paying or organising let us know, its not hard once you tried a villa its very hard to go back to a hotel. If you name a couple of the Villas you are interested in or seen on the net, somebody heres bound to have some info, hope this incourage's you to have a go.
